benchmarking information and in-depth analysis for retailers.

is ready to launch the fourth annual Retail Horizons survey. Retail Horizons:
Benchmarks 2006 - Forecasts 2007 will be the definitive source of benchmarking
information and in-depth analysis for retailers. It provides fundamental retail
metrics on industry statistics such as sales and distribution channels, annual
payroll, advertising and public relations efforts, inventory controls, employee
benefits, and information technology. The survey is organized in nine different
sections: General/Financial, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Merchandising,
Customer Insight and Focus, Marketing and Advertising, On-Line Presence, Information
Technology, and Human Capital. Company data is collected and analyzed by Resolution
Research and Marketing, Inc., hired by NRF Foundation, to aggregate and analyze all
data. Individual responses will not be shared with NRFF, or any outside parties.
Companies and executives who participate will receive copies of the findings at no
cost.
Participants of this study are leading retail companies that are establishing trends
and reinventing themselves in ways that impact the future of the retail industry.
Ultimately, the survey results will become a full report on retailing today and
tomorrow; its findings will be presented at the 96th National Retail Federation
Annual Convention and EXPO held January 14-17, 2007.

Time is running out for this benchmark study. All surveys must be collected by
November 10th, 2006.
